Project Context
To mark its 65th anniversary and a high-profile move from Toronto’s TD Towers to the landmark CIBC Square, AGF Management Limited—a globally diversified firm managing over $40 billion in assets—sought a signature artwork for its new reception area. The brief was clear: commission a statement piece that would honour AGF’s rich Canadian heritage while signaling its forward-looking vision in a world-class space overlooking the downtown skyline.
Our Solution
Building on AGF’s impressive art legacy—including works by Emily Carr and members of the Group of Seven—we commissioned a monumental 30-foot painting that reimagines the Canadian wilderness through a contemporary lens. The selected artist’s trajectory mirrors AGF’s evolution: bold, innovative, and rooted in Canadian identity. Positioned on the 39th floor with panoramic views of the city and lake, the work becomes a visual anchor—immersive in scale, rich in colour, and seamlessly integrated into the architectural and cultural fabric of the space. The result is a dynamic focal point that reflects AGF’s legacy, leadership, and ongoing investment in Canadian art.
