Project Context
Following the redesign of their Toronto headquarters, Menkes Developments—one of the city’s most established and influential real estate firms—sought an art program that would align with their legacy, elevate the employee experience, and speak to their role in shaping Toronto’s urban and cultural landscape. The challenge was to curate a collection that would resonate with staff, reflect the company's bold vision, and integrate meaningfully into a highly polished interior environment.

Our Solution
Working in close collaboration with the Menkes family and a roster of contemporary Canadian artists, we developed a curatorial strategy that channels the spirit of innovation, growth, and city-building. The selected works reflect themes of construction and transformation, mirroring the company’s role in the evolution of Toronto—yet interpreted through each artist’s distinct lens. With an emphasis on material experimentation and cultural diversity, the final collection captures the energy of the city and the values of Menkes: forward-thinking, rooted, and proudly local. The result is a dynamic, future-facing art program that enhances the workplace, reinforces brand identity, and honours the legacy of a company helping to define the fabric of Toronto.
