Project Context
As part of a design refresh at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, our mandate was to curate artwork for 259 guest suites spanning 55 floors of the property. Working in collaboration with the interior design team, we developed a vision that reflected the brand’s reputation for luxury and excellence. The brief evolved over the course of the project, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how art functions within a five-star hospitality environment. Every decision—from artist selection to substrate testing—had to meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
Our Solution
We led a rigorous curatorial process that included multiple rounds of concept development, material sampling, and client approvals. Through close coordination with the design firm and hotel team, we ensured the artwork would integrate seamlessly with the interiors while maintaining its own voice. After exploring a range of options, an artist from British Columbia was chosen among the numerous candidates. Her work now anchors the guest experience across all 259 suites—offering a quiet, elegant presence that reflects the Four Seasons brand and enhances the sense of comfort, refinement, and place.
