Purpose-Built Residential Tower
Project Context
Located at the centre of Menkes’ Sugar Wharf redevelopment, 100 Queens Quay East is a landmark 675,000 square foot Class “AAA” LEED Platinum office tower on Toronto’s waterfront. As the new home of the LCBO’s headquarters—alongside major tenants such as Canada Goose and the Toronto Region Board of Trade—the building sets a new standard for commercial office development.
Our Solution
We partnered with Menkes to create a custom art acquisition program designed to complement their turnkey leasing strategy at Sugar Wharf. Through a curated, private-access microsite, commercial tenants were invited to select artwork by Canadian and regionally relevant artists—offering a seamless, design-forward solution that added cultural value to their new spaces. To introduce the program, we curated the model suite with select artworks, giving prospective tenants a tangible sense of how the collection could elevate their work environment and align with the building’s contemporary, community-oriented vision.
