First Gulf Corporation—a $4 billion mixed-use developer—needed artwork for its new headquarters in Toronto’s landmark Globe & Mail building that would both affirm its status as a market leader and support its pursuit of Gold LEED certification.

We rooted our curatorial strategy in First Gulf’s three pillars—sustainability, innovation and design—selecting artists whose subject matter and material choices exemplify ecological stewardship. By commissioning site-specific pieces that highlight environmental themes and creative reuse, we forged a cohesive collection that underscores First Gulf’s corporate vision, reinforces its green-building goals and establishes a distinct identity for this premier office space.
