Project Context
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel sought a curated series of artworks for its newly designed restaurant entrance—pieces that would honor the brand’s storied legacy while signaling its rebirth. Complicating matters, the project involved a two-artist collaboration in different cities, and all production took place at the height of the pandemic, when suppliers were locked down and artists were unable to work together in person.

Our Solution
We developed a cohesive narrative around celebrity, film, and Toronto’s role at the heart of the industry, then facilitated a remote workflow that allowed both artists to collaborate despite physical separation. By coordinating virtual reviews, arranging secure shipping of works-in-progress, and managing artist communications, we turned logistical constraints into creative fuel. The result is an energetically charged collection—anchored by Caitlin Cronenberg’s intimate portrait of Chadwick Boseman— that resonates with the Ritz-Carlton’s heritage and ushers in a fresh chapter for the hotel.
